Our Story

Three Oaks began at a workbench in Atlanta in 2025 with a single hat and a simple idea: make a few things well, and make them to last.

I've been a car guy as long as I can remember, and somewhere along the way I fell for leatherwork too. Good leather and good cars have more in common than most people think. Both are made with care, both get better with use, and the best of each are meant to be kept. Three Oaks brings the two together.

We work with full-grain leather from tanneries that have earned their name. Horween Dublin, from the Chicago tannery that has been at it for more than a century, is where we start. Dublin is a pull-up leather. It darkens, softens and takes on the marks of the life it's carried through. Ten years in, it should look like yours. As the line grows, so will the hides, from wherever the best ones are made. The rule doesn't change. Every piece is stitched by hand, its edges finished by hand, and nothing leaves the bench I wouldn't carry myself.

For the sporting life

We make for the drive, the field and the course, in three collections:

  • Motor Club: classic motoring, in colorways drawn from the cars of the era.
  • Field: upland pieces for the dog and the hunt. Coming 2027.
  • The Grove: golf, where it all started with the original Grove hat.

Oakwood remains the everyday line beneath them all.

The first run, numbered

Our core colorways are here to stay, made in small batches by hand. The first run of each collection is different: a limited edition, every piece numbered by hand on its own edition card. Once that first run is gone, those numbers are never made again, and Edition I owners get early access to every edition that follows.

Built to last

Every piece is backed by our lifetime warranty, because we stand behind every stitch we make.
